Jefferson county man arrested for possession and promotion of child sexual abuse material

On May 20, 2025, members of the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit (CCU) and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at SP Watertown conducted an investigative operation at a residence on Middle Road in the town of Brownville, Jefferson County.

The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). As a result of the investigation, Isaiah Clukey, age 19, of Brownville, was identified as the suspect.

A subsequent search and interview revealed that Clukey was in possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Clukey was arrested and charged with the following:

One count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child Less Than 17 Years of Age (Class D Felony

One count of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child (Class E Felony)

Two counts of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree (Class E Felony)

Clukey was arraigned in Watertown City Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
