January 2015 will have a new law for NYC residents not to dispose electronic items

Starting January 2015, it will be illegal for NYC residents to discard electronics on the curb for sanitation pick up. Items from computer to TVs will not be picked up and can issue a fine up to $25 per bag according to Dept of Sanitation.
