Jamaica Now Action Plan continues with more affordable housing

On September 21, elected officials and developers were on Archer Avenue near the LIRR station for ground breaking for a new to build 23 story with 380 affordable apartments in Jamaica.

This is part of Jamaica Now Action Plan which was started by Mayor di Blasio in 2015 with $153 million in funding.

The location, 147-22 Archer Avenue is scheduled to be complete by 2021. Another location is underway for the same project at 92-23 168 Street.
