Ja ja ja permits files away for shelters

113 hotels in NYC have filed applications with the NYC Dept of Homeless to shelter migrants arriving from the Texas border along with the homeless crisis. The Mayor’s Office wouldn’t disclose the cost per or which nonprofit centers will handle the operation. The Dept of Homeless Service is reaching out to hotels and non-profits to handle the crisis. The DHS wouldn’t disclose which hotels are in line to allocate migrants from Texas in Queens. The hotels are in a timely need for businesses which haven't recovered from the pandemic. Meanwhile buses from Texas are arriving daily at the Port Authority Terminal and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs are greeting them to process paper works.
