Its closing time forever for Modell s in Flushing

Modell's, the long time store located on Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing is closing doors for good.

The management confirmed one part is closing after inventory is cleared.

The main store is still in the process of lease negotiation but most likely will not be renewed due to higher rent increasing over the years.

The one part of store is closing out all the inventories inside and soon to be vacant before the new year.

The management reported extra items will be transferred to other stores and workers are flexible if jobs are also available.

The store has been a long time fixture in the Flushing community.
