Its March 4 2019 and 5 cyclists dead in NYC

NYPD reported from January 1 to February 28, 5 cyclists dead while riding their bikes in NYC for the year 2019.

They are identified as Chaim Joseph, Susan Moses, Hector Ayala Jr., Hugo Garcia and Aurilla Lawrence.

According to NYPD, none of the drivers that struck the 5 bicyclists were charged. In 2018, there were 10 fatalities involving bike riders and vehicle drivers.

NYPD is also cracking down by issuing fines for bike riders passing red lights and not obeying inside the bike lanes.
