It s official for Nassau County

Curran lost and Blakeman won.

The final official count is candidate Bruce Blakeman beats incumbant Laura Curran by 2,150 votes. The campaign office of Curran has not responded to the result. Blakeman's campaign is having a press announcement soon of the victory speech.

The total is Blakeman, 142,626 to Curran, 140,476 which is not enough for a recount according to Nassau Board of Elections. So next year, Nassau County Executive is GOP Blakeman.

Update - Curran conceded.
