It s almost 6pm and heavy calls are in in and in Queens

It's all about love and forgiveness!

Police reported calls came in for shots fired and people driving in vehicles showing off guns plus assaults and robberies. Four calls came from Bayside to Fresh Meadows in the vicinity of the Long Island Expressway of a group driving around showing off guns. One incident of confirmed shots fired near Queens Village. This is near Francis Lewis Blvd and 115th Avenue. More than 10 people were assaulted inside the various Queens subway stations and so far one suspect is in custody at Long Island City. 3 women assaulted from Corona to Jackson Heights. 3 people robbed in the Jamaica vicinity.

As usual more funding is needed to combat violence programs according to the City Council, Senate and Assembly members.
