It s Massapequa craze now

The Massapequa little league baseball team is heading to the world series. This is the first in their 72 year history.

The town is going crazy with celebrations. After 44 years, this is the first time a Long Island team is going to the world series.

The game is on August 19 at 7pm in Pennsylvania which will be live on ESPN or visit Massapequa for gatherings with locals in Nassau County.

According to littleleague.org, 9 regional winners along with the Massapequa team nationwide will feature along with international teams from August 17 to 28.
