Honda grabbed the top spot for all the wrong reasons in NY

The NY Governor's office says Honda CR-V and Accord are the most targeted by losers wanting to steal everything from wheels to airbags and more. The next one is Toyota Highlander and Tundra which is now close to becoming extinct in the state giving thieves more work to look for one to steal totally especially Queens and Long Island.

According to the NYPD, safety devices are being distributed from time to time to the public when announced by the local precincts. Although it has not been successful, new technologies are under work to deter crimes from being successful which has a long way to go.

The NYPD CompStat reported for the year 2025, there were 48,034 vehicle break-ins from grand to petit larcenies while 13,520 autos were stolen. However, the good news is that it was down by 1.9% compared to 2024 and stolen auto down by 5%.

As of this year, 18 Highlanders were stolen so far from the NYPD data.

See that y’all crime is down in NYC.
