Homicide suspect turned himself in at 105th Precinct

Tyson Boateng, 31 of St. Albans went to 105th Precinct in Queens Village and turned himself in. Boateng has been charged with homicide, weapon possession, robbery and other charges as of Thursday, August 10 for the death of Zanu Simpson, 32 also of St. Albans. The shooting on July 25 outside an eatery after midnight had police on the manhunt search narrowing down to Boateng. The incident happened outside Island Breezers Restaurant at South Conduit and Lansing Avenues.
