Homicide suspect on the chase from Richmond Hill to Whitestone

Police reported a vehicle, Volkswagon Jetta with plates, Connecticut AE79956 is on the chase wanted for homicide. The pursuit started in Richmond Hill by Jamaica Avenue and Liberty Avenue and continued to Whitestone Bridge. Multiple police vehicles are on the chase including chopper hovering above.
Update - Southbound Hutchinson River Parkway closed with additional police heading to Queens after passing Orchard Beach. The vehicle was stopped on the Queens side of the Whitestone Bridge. The suspect is in custody. Ongoing investigation.
