Homicide investigation at a pond in Freeport

The NCPD is at the local park reporting a body was found. This is in the vicinity of Milburn Creek Park in Freeport, Nassau County. ESU removed the body and the medical examiner transported it to conduct an autopsy. One part of Merrick Road is closed for police emergency vehicles.
