Homicide investigation at Creedmoor in Bellerose

The NYPD reported a dispute turned into homicide in Bellerose. This is at the Creedmoor psychiatric ward inside the gated compound. EMS reported the victim is a male, 62 years old.

ESU recovered the weapon.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body to conduct autopsy.

Detectives have a perp in custody.

A witness stated the victim is a local worker.
