Home invasion to burglaries in the Bellerose vicinity

The NYPD reported increased burglaries and robberies including home invasion in Bellerose. Little Neck reported commercial burglaries while the vicinity of Glen Oaks and Bellerose has more burglaries than robbery victims.

One stretch of 249 Street reported multiple burglaries from Hillside Avenue to 76th Avenue.

Local residents are advised to equip their residence with surveillance cameras, bright lights at night and what is available for protection.

Local residents stated petit larceny continue to increase and have been warned to stay alert.
