Hit and run with multiple injuries in Astoria

Heavy police on 33rd Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria reporting a hit and run with multiple injuries. This is in Astoria.

Reportedly the suspect stole a vehicle and then pursuit started. The vehicle crashed into the local store with a fruit stand striking multiple pedestrians.

One pedestrian is in critical condition.

The suspect took off with the vehicle.

Shortly, the vehicle, white Nissan Rogue crashed toward parked vehicle nearby. The suspect is in custody.

EMS, ESU and FDNY are working on the scene.
