Hit and run reported in Kew Gardens

A female pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Queens Blvd and Union Turnpike. It happened around 8:45am. The driver took off after getting out of the vehicle to see. The victim, a 59 year old female is taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The vehicle is a beige Toyota Camry. Ongoing investigation.
