Hit and run reported in Hicksville

The NCPD closed off Bruce Avenue reporting a hit and run with a pedestrian in critical condition. This is by East End Avenue in Hicksville and the incident was reported this afternoon around 3:30pm. EMS transported the victim, female, to a local hospital.

Police are now searching for the driver, a blue SUV in the area.

ESU is working on the scene.
