Hit and run investigation on the LIE eastbound

Around 1:30pm this afternoon, Long Island Expressway eastbound reported a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. One driver allegedly took off from the scene. Also, this was involving a school bus with children on-board. EMS transported the injured to local hospitals. This is after Junction Blvd Exit heading to the Grand Central Parkway and Main Street Exits.

Police are now searching for the vehicle.
