Hillcrest library to close on Union Turnpike

The public library, Hillcrest on Union Turnpike near 188 Street will close on February 18 for renovations..

The NYC Dept of Design will be coming to the library to inspect the roofs and HVAC for repairs. Then construction and other renovations.

The time frame is 6 to 9 months or longer.

Until then, Fresh Meadows library on the Horace Harding Expressway is open to the public.
