Heavy police activity continues from Floral Park to Elmont

All day the NCPD are in Floral Park and Elmont along with detectives investigating the shooting incident which happened on Sunday, September 4 around 11:30pm at Joan Court.

Police narrowed down the investigation, tracking a vehicle that may be involved on Hempstead Turnpike and Elmont Road which was at the local motor inn. Police narrowed to the location with continued investigation. Earlier the schools were on lockdown as a safety measure in the area. As of late afternoon, the investigation continues.
