Heavy merchandise theft in Fresh Meadows

Police closed off New York Avenue and Main Street in Huntington. This is by Elm Street in Suffolk County. The SCPD has not disclosed the details pending investigation of a pedestrian struck by vehicle.

Also, during the last week of January, police reported of two suspects wanted for store thefts at two different location on separate dates.

The first incident was reported on January 20 at the local Target on East Jericho Turnpike.

The second incident occurred on January 24 also at the same target.

Police released surveillance pictures of both suspects.
