Heavy fire in Astoria with multiple injuries

FDNY reported fire at 42-13 23rd Avenue in Astoria. It happened yesterday around 8pm. This is inside the second floor of a three story apartment.

Two people from the second floor jumped to the ground to escape fire and were taken to local hospitals along with more injured.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
