Heavy fire at an apartment in Flushing

FDNY reported 2nd alarm at 144-50 35th Avenue. This is an apartment building in Flushing. EMS reported injuries.

The fire started today morning around 7:30am. Firefighters was able to bring the fire under control by 8:45am.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
