Heavy fire at a home in Maspeth

FDNY reported heavy fire at a home on 60th Road in Maspeth. This is between Mt Olive Crescent and Fresh Pond Road.

The fire started around 12pm with multiple injuries.

EMS transported all injured to local hospitals.

8 people including 1 firefighter was transported to hospitals.

The fire marshal reported this was a 3rd alarm.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
