Heavy fire at a home in Hempstead

Firefighters report heavy fire at 66 Warner Avenue in Hempstead. This is a private dwelling. EMS reported injuries. The fire started around 1:30pm and spread throught the home. The fire reported as second alarm.

More than 100 firefighters worked to bring the fire under control.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
