Heavy apartment fire in Long Island

Firefighters reported an apartment fire in Hauppauge. The fire started with propane on the deck of one of the apartments extended to the roof and then to other units.

The fire started around 12pm and was brought under control by 1pm. This is on Plantation Drive near Mt Pleasant Road.

EMS reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
