Green rides announced in NYC

The NYC Mayor announced today starting 2030, all cab rides including those working for apps will be all electric. This does not include the Mayor and the city workers using taxpayer funded vehicles.

The Mayor also announced wheelchair accessible as alternative transportation instead of electric vehicles.

So to all earning money with TLC vehicle plates, start saving to buy electric vehicles if still want to work in 2030.

This is part of 100% zero-emission for-hire vehicle fleet by 2030.

As for fossil fuel, vehicle owners can drive around the city and that will never change except parking spots kaput, more charges for parking, more no standing lanes, etc.
