Gang activities continue to rise in Flushing

The NYPD reported of burglaries, armed robberies and larcenies increasing on a regular basis in Flushing. The latest incident was reported on Utopia Parkway by 47th Avenue where a victim was robbed while walking.

Several witnesses stated to police the suspects described as Asian male teens forming new gangs in Flushing and expanding to the next vicinity.

Pidgeon Meadows Road reported a group targeting victims who walk from bus stops. This is near Kissena Park.

At the same time, there were multiple attempts targeting home invasions as per the local precinct.

Also, the community has been notified of incidents and advising all to stay alert in the area.
