GCP westbound closed in Astoria

Jumper down on the parkway.

Police are on the Grand Central Parkway westbound by Steinway Street reporting a male walked and struck by vehicle after jumping down. The male jumper is dead on the scene.

ESU is working on the scene. EMS is also on the scene.

All lanes closed for now.

The driver involved is visibly shaken.

Heavy delays all around.
