Fundraising is skyrocketing using protests raking millions

From BLM to Cancel Rent protests, groups are raising plenty via fundraising. BLM Los Angeles raised almost $3 million from GoFundMe and more from other fundraising activities. According to the BLM organizer in NYC, there are plenty of fake groups calling themselves BLM and raising money illegally without protests. It's up to the authorities to investigate. One group in Great Neck was confronted after the protest was cancelled but they returned the money back to the people donated. According to AG's office, if the legal papers are in order and financial details are disclosed with tax returns, irregularities are up to IRS. Law enforcement applies only if funds are raised for terrorism or violent activities after proven by the name of organizers listed.
