Friday bullets update with one dead so far for Queens

Let's start with Jackson Heights today for the bullet update. The NYPD closed off 85th Street and 37th Avenue intersection this late morning around 11:30am of multiple shots fired. Police say two suspects, males, Hispanics on a moped is wanted for the incident. ESU recovered shell casings. Civilians went hiding and EMS checked all for injuries.

Around 2:15pm, Merrick Blvd was closed after a shooting resulted with a male shot. This is at local Archie Spigner Park. EMS transported the victim, male, 49, to a local hospital where he died of the wounds. Police say the suspect, male, black took off on a Citi bike toward southbound. Again, civilians went hiding and EMS checked all for injuries.

Both incidents are under investigation.
