Fresh Meadows is expanding real estate

More construction plans have been filed with the NYC Dept of Building after two lots on Union Turnpike were sold in Fresh Meadows.

The intersection of 188 Street has four homes sold to make way for commercial lots on the corner and more are on the way.

The latest development is a 5 story mixed use after a long time Chinese eatery sold. This is on the corner of Union Turnpike and 186th Street. The plan is 75 feet tall with retail, community and health center with 156 parkings. A demolition date has not been announced as of yet pending approval. It was sold for $5 million in 2022 at $598 per square feet.
