Former Bayside Italian eatery location heading to bankruptcy auction

The former location of Allora Kitchen and Bar at 210-35 26 Avenue in Bayside is heading to bankruptcy auction. The auction will be held on September 17 at 2:30pm in the same address. Registration will start at 2pm. In order to participate, a certified check of $100,000 payable to Allan B. Mendelsohn, Esq., as Chapter 7 Trustee. The winner must also make a total deposit of 25% within 48 hours following the auction. The lease expires in June 30, 2024 and the rent was $31,240.61. The eatery was closed in August and was listed for $3.5 million but since they were opened in 2017, court records show over $166,000 outstanding due to three food distributors, $300,000 to NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance. The owners also filed for bankruptcy along with another restaurant they owned Ara Greek Kitchen in Long Island.
