For sale and under construction homes to vacant lots reported burglaries in Nassau County

The NCPD reported three targets were prime for burglaries in Nassau County which is increasing on a regular basis. The first target is vacant lots to camp out with tents claiming the suspects own the land. Over the past one week, calls came in for illegal tents being placed on Hillside Avenue and Stewart Avenue in New Hyde Park, Eisenhower Park, etc. The second target is homes listed for sale that's not occupied by removing locks reported by real estate agencies. Third is under construction homes.

Police released guidelines to prevent such burglaries.
