For a good time seen online did not go well for a teen in East Elmhurst

The NYPD is investigating a robbery and stabbing incident in East Elmhurst where a male, 18 was the victim of online solicitation for a good time. The incident was reported on March 28 around 11pm in the vicinity of 79th Street and 25th Avenue near the local park.

The teen all set to meet a woman at the location with smiles. All of a sudden out of nowhere, two suspects came out and robbed the teen. Then all three perps took off in a public bus with the victim's belongings.

The NYPD cautiously advises all scams targeting innocent men seeking a good time online where robberies and assaults continue to increase especially in Corona and Flushing within the motels and hotels. Try going out to local meetings and talk in person. Then see where it does. Always remember rejections are part of life so be strong and move on.

The investigation continues.
