Floral Park mother arrested for leaving her 5 year old alone at home

Police arrested and charged a Floral Park mother for leaving her 5 year old alone at home. The incident was reported on Monday when a neighbor saw the child with leg dangling out of the window from the second floor. The mother was arrested on Tuesday and charged with reckless endangerment and child negilence. It happened on McKee Street and Bryant Avenue between Hillside Avenue and Jericho Turnpike.
