Floral Park man arrested for Capital One Bank robbery

Jitendra Chudasama, 46 of Floral Park was arrested and charged with the robbery that occurred on October 17 on Hillside Avenue and 234th Street. The location where Capital One Bank had calls for robbery around 2:30pm. According to police, they confirmed Chudasama was hiding in Creedmoor Campus after the robbery when he was taken into custody. The call for EDP at Creedmoor came from workers when they didn't recognize one of their patients but as intruder. Chudasama had $3,100 in his pockets which was the same amount missing from the robbery. He was unemployed after losing his job at Filene's in Fresh Meadows. His family claims that he was framed.
