Fire here burglary there in South Richmond Hill

FDNY reported a fire at 101-04 116th Street in South Richmond Hill. This is a 2 story private dwelling. EMS reported minor injuries. While firefighters were working on the scene, they alerted police of a loser breaking into a home across the street. Police were able to apprehend the suspect. Reported no one was hurt inside the home during the burglary. This is when the homeowner left the door open to witness the fire.
