Feds shutdown Backpage com

The popular online classifieds portal, Backpage.com was shut down by feds after a warrant was issued to their founder's home for additional seizure of assets. The website was under investigation for promoting sex ads. Despite their adult channel removed, users were able to post elsewhere. Another popular site, Craigslist removed Personals channel altogether and people seeking love will have to look elsewhere. Its all part of SESTA, The Stop Enabling Sex Trafffickers Act which was passed by US Congress in March to stop websites from promoting human trafficking.
