Fatality on Rt 135 in N Massapequa

Police closed off Route 135 around 10:30am this morning reporting a multiple vehicle accident with one dead. This is by Exit 5 in Hicksville, Nassau County.

ESU removed one dead from the scene.

The deceased is a senior at Plainedge Union Free School in Massapequa.

Roads are opening up for normal traffic for evening rush hour in both directions.

The investigation continues.
