Fatality on LIE eastbound

Long Island Expressway eastbound has all lanes closed due to fatality involving a motorcyclists.

This is the second fatality tonight after Clearview Expressway in Bayside.

The LIE is closed by Exit 46 before Suffolk County border. The medical examiner is working to transport the body pending autopsy.

Heavy EMS, ESU, police and other emergency personnel.

Heavy delays all around.

Avoid the route.

Ongoing investigation.
