Fatality involving a teen car crash in Nassau County

Police were called to Chicken Valley Road in Old Country reporting a vehicle crash with one dead. This is at the intersection of Brookville Lane in Old Brookville, Nassau County. The incident was reported around 3:30am.

One girl, 16 years old, died at the scene. Three other teens, males, 16, 15 and 14 inside the vehicle were taken to local hospitals. This was a single crash. Police suspect speed was the factor involving a 2008 Nissan.
