Fatality in Maspeth

Police closed off Maurice Avenue in Maspeth reporting multiple vehicle accident with one dead, a pedestrian. This is by far 53rd Drive. ESU is working on the scene. Highway CIS is also on the scene. The accident occurred around 7:30pm and the injured died at the local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
