Fatal fire in Jackson Heights

FDNY reported fire at 37-60 88 Street. The fire started in the fourth floor of an apartment. EMS reported one dead from burns in the kitchen. The incident was reported on March 4 around 5:15pm.

EMS also transported others from the apartment to local hospitals with injuries. Firefighters are investigating to what caused the fire.
