Family Dollar robbed in Fresh Meadows

Police are at the Family Dollar in Fresh Meadows reporting armed robbery. This is on Union Turnpike and 149th Street. Reported a suspect, male, Hispanic displayed a knife and took off with cash. It happened around 1:30pm. Last seen eastbound Union Turnpike in a Honda Civic with CT license plates. There were no injuries. Ongoing investigation.
