FDNY members had time in the hospital over the weekend

The FDNY reported 15 locations in NYC with fire, mainly residential neighborhoods. The major one was in Queens on Sutphin Blvd and 114th Avenue which was a house fire with extension reporting a fifth alarm where multiple firefighters were taken to hospitals. Then on Hartland Avenue near Union Turnpike in Hollis also on Saturday. At night time, an apartment fire on Colden Street near Kissena Blvd.

Today on Broadway near 43rd Street in Long Island City.

As for Nassau County, New Hyde Park reported a house fire around 12:30am last night. This is on Jones Street near 80th Avenue.

Yesterday afternoon, multiple police officers were taken to hospitals after a fire in Baldwin where they worked to remove a victim. This is on Lincoln Avenue. Another major fire in Baldwin was reported on August 10 around 2am which was the second alarm in the vicinity of Grand Avenue.

All incidents are under investigation.
