FDA to restrict flavored tobacco products and working to ban menthol cigarettes

The US Food and Drug Administration reported of new law to ban flavored tobacco products.

This includes e-cigs that contains nicotine. At the same time, only mint, menthol and regular tobacco are allowed to sell anywhere in NY. Any flavors containing approved by FDA in form of sweet or fruity must be sold at age verified stores.

The same with online where age verification must be processed. Also, FDA is working to ban menthol cigarettes.

The FDA confirmed Juul products with flavored tobacco are also restricted. According to FDA, there were increase by 78% of high school kids using e-cigs in the last 30 days compared with last year.

20% of high school kids use e-cig which is over 3 million and 570,000 middle school kids.
