Explore the nature resulted strangulation on Douglaston Parkway

Police reported multiple people assaulted while exploring nature at the local park. One person was taken to hospital after strangulation around 11am. This is at the hiking trails where the entrance is on Douglaston Parkway. Several people reported of homeless camping inside the park's wood areas. Local residents are advised to stay cautious. The incidents were reported for the last two weeks after a park department official stated they are working with the homeless outreach. An update will be issued in the coming weeks of relocating them.
