Election is over and now about that 32 000

That's the minimum wage salary for New Yorkers.

The NYS Senate and Assembly will have a vote this Thursday to increase their salary by $32,000. Both legislatures were working since Monday including nights to demand the pay raise which will be the highest nationwide surpassing California.

Current salary is $110,000.

The California payout is $119,702 and if passed this Thursday which is expected due to super majority by one party, the salary for NY will be increased to $142,000 per year funded by taxpayers.

The salary plus benefits and expenses are also good.

While taxpayers are crying with rising costs, several elected officials have stated the same due to inflation to keep up with their lifestyle which is serving the public with love.

The part time job has most elected officials with outside income which is way over their salaries. So again, a full time minimum wage earns $32,000 will have to work overtime or run for an office.
